During the July Quota Reform Uprising 2024 in Mymensingh, 24-year-old Md Ridone Hossain (Sagor), a diligent honors student and part-time IT worker, became a symbol of courage and sacrifice. Son of Asaduzzaman and Rahima Khatun, Ridone Hossain had dreams of completing his studies, supporting his ailing mother, and building a future for his family.

On 19 July 2024, while participating in a student march for quota reform, Ridone Hossain was fatally shot during a violent clash involving law enforcement and political supporters. His death left his family shattered and the nation mourning a young life devoted to justice and reform.

In this documentary, we visit Ridone Hossain’s home in Mymensingh, where his father share intimate memories of his life, his aspirations, and the tragic day that changed everything. Their words honor not only his bravery but also the enduring spirit of students and youth who stood up for democracy and fairness.
