Maulana Khubaib Ahmad

The July Uprising of 2024 brought together people from all walks of life students, workers, teachers, and religious scholars united by a shared desire for justice and change. Among them was Maulana Khubaib Ahmad, a young Islamic scholar, teacher, writer, and student whose life was tragically cut short on August 5, 2024.

Born in Chandpur and educated in some of Bangladesh’s renowned Islamic institutions, Khubaib Ahmad was known for his humility, scholarship, and unwavering commitment to faith. He was actively involved in the July movement from its earliest days, standing alongside thousands who demanded a better future for the country.

In this documentary, July Council speaks with Khubaib Ahmad’s family, relatives, and those who knew him closely. Through their memories and reflections, we discover a young scholar whose life revolved around knowledge, service, and devotion to Allah. Their testimonies reveal not only the circumstances of his final day but also the values and aspirations that defined his remarkable journey.
