On 20 July 2024, during the historic July Uprising in Narayanganj, garment worker Md. Minarul Islam (27) was fatally shot while standing for justice and equality. Despite official claims of a “road accident,” his family, colleagues, and eyewitnesses assert that he was murdered in cold blood during the movement against discrimination.

Minarul, a resident of Guripara, Rajshahi, left behind his grieving mother Dolly Begum, wife, and brother in-laws, who recount the terrifying day, the aftermath, and the continuing struggle for truth and accountability. This documentary visits Minarul’s home, capturing intimate interviews with his family, revealing not only the human cost of activism but the bravery of those who rise against oppression.
