Summary

Arifur Rahman Russel, a young activist from Sundarkathi village, Dudhal Union, Bakerganj Upazila, Barishal, was more than a martyr of the July Uprising 2024. He served as the Joint Convenor of Dhaka East City Chhatra Dal and worked as a medical sales representative at Popular Hospital, Dhanmondi. His life was one of dedication to his community, his work, and the struggle for justice and democracy.

On 5 August 2024, Russel was fatally shot, leaving behind a grieving family. In this documentary, we hear from his mother and wife, who recall his dreams, courage, and the day that changed everything. Their words reveal not just the loss, but the enduring spirit of a generation that rose against oppression.
